Climate News
Latest news on climate change, actions and challanges we take on in our effort to stabilize climate.
Public API
Climate data just milliseconds away. Free to use, rich public API with most crucial climate factors.
Up to date
Climate Monitor database is being updated with recently published data of multiple origins, mainly NOAA and NASA public data servers. Datasets update runs in relation to the data scope. Narrow scope data, like daily readings are not more then hours old.
Comprehensive
Well over 40 different datasets, collection of data on the most important climate factors: levels of multiple atmospheric greenhouse gases, land and ocean temperatures, trends in ocean levels as well as condition of Arctica's and Antarctica's glaciers.
Accessible
Data collected over multiple sources, delivered to you in one place, served as an easy to read chart, as well as tabular or json data. Analize scope of your choice and compare factors. Use free Public API if you are up to something...

Get involved

The climate monitor project is a living initiative, aimed at providing you hard data on climate change in a most useful and accessible way. No cristal ball guesses on "tipping point" and other factors too complex for responsible estimation. Data speaks volumes and we actually know a lot by now.

Data sources

Climate monitor relies on three data sources: The Global Monitoring Laboratory of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for greenhouse gases levels, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory California Insititute of Technology Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center for data on ocean levels and glaciers ice mass and Berkeley Earth for global temperature measurements.
